The French do it better..Fashion's Night Out Promo Video!

The fashion world cannot get enough of French Vogue's Editor in chief Emmanuelle Alt, whose rock chic style seems to be hugely popular with street style blogs. So it is no surprise that Emmanuelle was chosen as the spokesperson of Fashion Night Out's French segment. This promotional video sees Alt roaming Avenue Montaigne, shopping in its luxury brand boutiques while wearing a gorgeous Isabel Marant number!! This just sends me into FNO frenzy!! I mean Emmanuelle, Karl, French style and that oh so chic accent- I'm SOLD!

Oh Canicule !!

Emmanuelle Alt- The new Editor in Chief of Vogue Paris- did a great Job styling this Uber sexy shoot starring Isabeli Fontana and shot by Mert & Marcus. The shoot takes on a retro feel to celebrate what the french call Canicule- which means a period of the hottest summer days, Just in time for the June-July heat. I am absolutely in love with this shoot. The femininity, the colors..everything is simply Tres sexy!!!

I knew from the moment i watched Miu Miu's Fall 2010 collection that it will strike a cord with the fash crowd. I mean how can it now, it's simply amazing in a playful and fresh new take on the season's most prominent trends. What i did not anticipate though is that it will be featured on so many covers! You can't open a fashion mag without seeing this dress, whether on the cover or in the shoots! Brilliant PR but i just think they might have overdone it a tad. What do you think?

Leather Pants and leggings have been going on for sometime, but this season designers introduced them in the season's hottest colour: RED! Seen on the runways of Balmain and Isabel Marant; Red leather pants are a must have for fall 2010. If done right, this look can be super edgy and classy.

So unless you were living in the sand for the past few months then you probably know about the clog invasion! We first saw them on the runways of Chanel and Miu Miu and brushed them off as ugly little things, but ever since you couldn't open one fashion mag or blog and not see them on the feet of trendsetters. I have to admit i caved in strongly to this trend. Unfortunately i was too late to get my hands on the super cute Miu Miu bird print clogs which i am seriously obsessing over now (I mean come on they just make you happy by looking at them) ! Nor will i splurge on the Chanel ones (because i know its a very seasonal trend). Many high street brands have introduced their version of the clog but for me the ultimate must have are the Charlie C blogs by Jeffrey Campbell, they are the hottest pair now, snapped up by almost every self proclaimed fashionista. I don't know any stores that sell them but you can order yours online from Singer22 or Shopbop!
