The Mini Cooper Gets a Fashion Makeover!

Brilliant! The Mini has teamed up with Diane Von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole to customize three Mini Coopers which will be auctioned off. The proceeds of this will go to the amFar charity which is a fundraiser for AIDS research. Now that is what i call fashion for a cause!

Diane Von Furstenberg gave the Mini a splash of vibrant red colour, with lips scattered all over the car.

Calvin Klein lavished the MINI Countryman, which is the MINI's brand new crossover model. Pure elegance in its minimalist approach. Matte black with the Calvin Klein signature adorning each of the front doors in black reflective rubber.

Kenneth Cole simply outdid himself , cladding this convertible MINI in studs on the exterior and interior. I have no words to describe the beauty of this ultra fashionable piece of jewel ! MY FAV!

Maxi Skirts are a summer staple this season but unless done right they can look tacky and outdated. In this pic i have created a combo on how you can wear the maxi skirt.

• To start with it's best to keep the look simple , i prefer it print free with a theme of solid muted colours.
• Pair the skirt with a simple tank/tee , I prefer them loose and tucked inside for a cooler effect
• You can keep the look just a skirt/tee combo or layer it depending on the weather. I adore a leather jacket thrown on this look but since its summer and temps are soaring so let's keep the layering light with vests.
• I would go for a denim vest at daytime and substitute with more embellised ones later in the day. The different combos are shown in the pic above.
• Accessories play up this outfit so depending on the time/place you can really create many looks. I adore fedoras with this look and i would keep the jewellery to statement bold rings and an oversized watch.
• You can add gladiator flats or a chunky wedges for extra height.

Miu Miu Bird Print Clog

So unless you were living in the sand for the past few months then you probably know about the clog invasion! We first saw them on the runways of Chanel and Miu Miu and brushed them off as ugly little things, but ever since you couldn't open one fashion mag or blog and not see them on the feet of trendsetters. I have to admit i caved in strongly to this trend. Unfortunately i was too late to get my hands on the super cute Miu Miu bird print clogs which i am seriously obsessing over now (I mean come on they just make you happy by looking at them) ! Nor will i splurge on the Chanel ones (because i know its a very seasonal trend). Many high street brands have introduced their version of the clog but for me the ultimate must have are the Charlie C blogs by Jeffrey Campbell, they are the hottest pair now, snapped up by almost every self proclaimed fashionista. I don't know any stores that sell them but you can order yours online from Singer22 or Shopbop!
